Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and author who won several Awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. The daughter of a family of artists located in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. She started as a photographer's assistant, and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought the world to her, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
