Lars Mikkelsen3-765x1024At the age of 27 and a student at the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated in 1994. He was also featured in The Killing, a drama show that was telecast across the globe. He then appeared in Borgen III and Those Who Kill the two internationally popular Danish drama series. He also played the lead part in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock as a blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen. In the American TV series House of Cards, he was the president of Russia. In 2018, he took home an International Emmy Award for his role as the president of Russia in the Danish television drama Herrens Veje. It was broadcast in the UK in the year 2019. He claims that his brother and he first began learning English through listening to Monty Python records and learning the comedy sketches.
