Coleman was born and raised in the town of the Lancashire town of Blackpool. Coleman attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She also scored the highest marks in her A-level exams. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman stated that she regrets not having had a typical University education. Coleman, while still at high school, was a student of the theatre company In Yer Space. They staged the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Along with being awarded a prize for acting, the play that she performed was well-received. Coleman was chosen for the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with Drama schools. Coleman got two nominations in the year 2007. In the British Soap Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer. Also, in the National Television Awards she was nominated as the Most Popular Newcomer. In 2009, she received nominations for two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was awarded her TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on the 21st of March that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and others left the series. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to be the companion because she could be the best companion for Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. She is however, more popular for her television projects rather as opposed to films. In the many roles Eva has appeared in on television shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which are the most notable. This particular show gave Eva two nominations for a 'Daytime Emmy.' She also got to express her creative side via music. Eva is an entrepreneur, as well as an actress. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
