Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In 1956, she made her big break on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The singer also released her debut album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she signed with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career effectively in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there as well as her adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
